Now that school has started, I have a strict schedule. I have to keep a short and simple makeup routine because of the little time I have in the morning. I would say I’m a self-taught makeup addict. Ever since I started doing my makeup, I started to fall in love with shimmery eyeshadows, brow products, and lippies. I altered my everyday makeup routine just for you guys. I know this might not seem simple, but it’s totally me! I hope you enjoy the look!
First, I moisturize my skin. This is a key step for me. I don’t usually use foundation on a everyday basis, but I decided to switch it up by applying very minimal strokes of the Maybelline Fit Me Matte Poreless Foundation (in the shade Classic Tan). I think this foundation is perfect for when you’re going for a natural look. Next, I took a beauty blender and dapped on some of the Nyx HD Concealer. Not only does this cover up my dark circles, but makes me look amazing when I’m taking selfies. I dusted on some of my Wet and Dry Pressed Powder by Ulta. Then, I move on to my brows by using a spoolie to get those brow hairs in check. Today, I changed up my brow routine by using the Benefit Ka Brow to make my brows look darker and thicker. This product is very pigmented and harsh, so I applied it very lightly. Then, I use the Maybelline Brow Drama Pro Palette to fill in any other sparse areas in the brow. I set the brow look in place with the Clear Brow Gel by Ulta.
Are you guys ready for eyes? So, I take a blending brush and work the shade “Louis”, from the Miss Fabulous Eyeshadow Palette, into my crease. This shade comes out as a soft brown. Then, I move on to the Carli Bybel Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette. I’m SOOO in love with this palette. I can go on and on about it. I wanted to add some more shimmer to my crease, so I took the brown shade (second row, middle) with a angled crease brush and worked that in. Then, I covered my entire lid in the gold shade (second row, second shade). I’m in love with the copper shade (second row, fourth shade) so I applied that on top of the previous shade. To finish off the eye makeup, I took the opal shade (second row, first shade) in my tear duct and to highlight under my brow. I used the Nyx Super Skinny Eye Marker to create a classic line. Then, I curled my lashes and applied L’Oréal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara to my top and bottom lashes.
I wanted my eyes to be the focus, so I didn’t go crazy with my highlighter or blush. I used my Stila Sea and Bronze baked powder trio on my cheekbones and on the top of my nose. I used the Benefit Fine One One to add a little bit of color to my cheeks. Like I said before, I wanted the eyes to be the focus, so I kept my lips simple. I used the Candy K Lip Liner by Kylie Cosmetics to line my lips. Then, I applied the Koko K Lip Gloss on top. Applying a lip liner as your base can make your lip gloss last longer.
Now here’s the finished look:
Thanks for reading! I hope you guys know that I’m no expert. I just love doing my makeup. Let me know what you guys think about this look and whether you want more makeup routines from me, in the comments. If you enjoyed this look, please like! What are some your everyday products?
